GIULIO RAFFAELE

Juror

Giulio Raffaele was born and raised in Naples, in Quartieri Spagnoli. In 2008, Giulio moved to Milan and developed a passion for contemporary art. In 2015, he began collecting emerging artists’ artworks. In 2020, he co-founded Silent Art Explorer (SAE), a private collectionism project, driven by the mission to support emerging talents in the arts and culture sector, and built around three main goals.
The first goal is to enrich the collection through the acquisition, promotion, and sharing of works by emerging artists. The second is to provide financial support and beyond to art and culture professionals — ranging from artist residencies, to curatorial practices, to contemporary theater performances. The third is to facilitate the creation of a cohesive and virtuous community around emerging art.
Giulio works as an expert for the Presidency of the Council of Ministry and, occasionally, provides advisory services to startups of different sectors.
