ART CONTEST
BORN TO PROMOTE
EMERGING PAINTERS
AND VISUAL ARTISTS.

OUR MISSION

Prisma Art Prize is an art contest born to promote emerging painters and visual artists.

As our name and logo suggests, we want to be a prism that refracts all the possible outcomes of the painting process: we aim to collect and showcase a selection of artworks which is inclusive, diversified and representative of the possibilities that the painting medium gives to artists.

We want to support emerging artists from all over the world by providing € 2000 in cash awards per year and the opportunity to participate in our exhibition at the Contemporary Cluster, Palazzo Brancaccio in Rome, in 2023. We publish four seasonal calls per year which are open to both professional and amateur painters, without age limit, that use every kind of technique and medium.

Your originality and creativity are greatly welcomed and supported.

Our first exhibition took place in February 2022. It has been hosted by Atelier Montez, a contemporary art factory born in 2012 from the redevelopment of an urban wreck between in Pietralata, built on a project by the Artist Gio Montez, Giacomo Capogrossi and the architect Francesco Perri. The Atelier has supported through the years hundreds of emerging artists and also hosted many established professionals like Turi Sottile and Hermann Nitsch.
