FILIPPO ZAGARESE

Juror

Filippo Zagarese is an architect, exhibition designer and art collector based in Milan. A graduate of the Academy of Architecture in Mendrisio, he specializes in the history and theory of art and architecture. His practice moves between architecture, exhibition design and curating, with a focus on the relationships between space, narrative and visual culture. He is founder and director of EGO Projects, an independent space born in the heart of Milan from a collective initiative among students of the Academy. EGO is both an architectural studio, an experimental laboratory and a place for dialogue between art, architecture and critical thinking. He promotes visual culture by supporting emerging artists and bringing international, innovative and unconventional research to Milan. His training is enriched by workshops and seminars on visual arts, museology and scenography, including collaborations with Régis Michel (cuartore of the Louvre) and Boris Hars-Tschachotin (director).
